PCTEST acoustics facilities are fully equipped with two hemi-anechoic acoustic telephony chambers using the Bruel & Kjaer 4128D Head and Torso Simulator (HATS) and the Rohde & Schwarz CMU200 Communications Test Set for handset acoustic tests for technologies including, but not limited to,:

• GSM EFR, HR, AMR codecs
• CDMA2000/CdmaOne Full Rate, EVRC codecs
• UMTS AMR-FR, AMR-HR codecs

PCTEST Acoustic software packages are fully automated to ensure the highest quality of acoustic testing for our customers. Standards that our laboratory perform include, but not limited to,:
